The Metro Detroit Sled Hockey (MDSH) Program The Metro Detroit Sled Hockey started in 2019 with a group of kids who loved to play recreational sled hockey, but had a desire to learn the skills needed to play competitive sled hockey. Since a competitive sled hockey team did not exist in Metro Detroit, we came together to create Metro Detroit’s first competitive youth sled hockey team.
