MI-UCP Charity Hockey Event was a huge success.
Thank you to everyone who donated and who came out the event. It was wonderful to gather in support of
people with disabilities and to enjoy some old time hockey with the Detroit Red Wing Alumni.
1.4 million Michiganders with disabilities
are inviting you to help close the disability divide.
We are MI-UCP, a statewide nonprofit organization that’s been improving the lives of people with disabilities for the past 70 years. This desire to serve comes from our belief that everyone has the right to live to the best of their abilities and go as far as their ambitions will take them. The monies raised by this Charity Hockey Event allow us to continue programs and services that benefit the people we serve across Michigan.
For the past 20 years, a group of local hockey players team up as the MI-UCP Pucksters and take on the The Detroit Red Wing Alumni. 85% of every dollar raised from MI-UCP events goes directly to those programs and services.
At MI-UCP (Michigan United Cerebral Palsy) our top priority is the health, safety and well-being of the people we serve. We continue to monitor the latest coronavirus developments and doing our part to minimize stress and provide comfort any way we can. With an abundance of caution for those who may be immunocompromised and for the health of all, we request all fans and participants to please wear a mask (except when playing).
